The eclectic style of Baritalia’s decor has helped to establish this restaurant as a regular haunt for locals and tourists alike in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The alfresco setting really sets this restaurant apart. In the afternoon the north easterly facing spot catches the best of the afternoon sun, making it the perfect place for an ice-cold Peroni straight from the tap, our antipasti is perfect with a few of our house favourites Italian sour or our barrel aged Negroni.
From the Italian tomato tins that hold the neatly wrapped cutlery, to the cooks’ pot that houses the climbing garden, the bookcases are stacked with cookbooks that beg to be read, Baritalia provides a relaxed comfortable atmosphere with a rustic outdoorsy feel.
The cuisine is Italian by nature and our dishes have been carefully produced with a modernised twist that must be tasted to truly appreciate. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our menu has been slightly revamped to reflect the season; all the while staying true to the modern Italian theme and offering gluten free, vegetarian options too.
The chalkboard specials are updated weekly and offer some culinary delights; every inch of Baritalia has been carefully constructed with the customer in mind. We are fully licensed and offer Italian wines and beers, along with selected Australian varieties.
